The company has been awarded the contract to build 33 new affordable houses by Gloucester City Homes.
The first scheme, a development at Bazeley Road in Matson, is already underway. The project includes 3 new build bungalows and 3 new houses.
Painswick Road will be the next scheme, for 4 new bungalows, which will commence in early September.
A further 3 schemes of 9 bungalows in Hawthorn Avenue, Coney Hill, 7 Houses and 2 bungalows in Kemble Road, Tuffley, and 3 houses and 2 flats in St Peters Road, Matson are all due to commence before the end of the year with completions set for October 2016.
Aqua Managing Director Jason Wasley said, “We are delighted to have been awarded the GCH contract to build their first development to provide much needed social housing for the city”.
Winning this contract means that the company will be able to go from strength to strength, and create much needed new apprenticeships and training opportunities.
