As an award-winning construction company, we are looking for a competent, self-motivated, hardworking, and knowledgeable Groundworker who can complete a wide and varied range of jobs alongside our busy team on sites in and around Gloucester. Aqua Construction operates sites up to 40 miles from our purpose-built offices situated between Elmore and Quedgeley.

Groundworker (permanent), Gloucestershire

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our growing team delivering high-quality residential developments across Gloucestershire

Aqua Construction founded in the year 2000 by the current Managing Director, is a well-established, award-winning contracting Company specialising in the delivery of individual houses to medium size developments, working with both private clients and registered providers of social housing.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Excavation and concreting of foundations
  • Installation of foul and storm drainage systems
  • Block and Beam flooring
  • Construction of roads and footpaths
  • External hard landscaping finishes
  • Working to programmes and deadlines
  • Complying with Health & Safety and Environmental standards

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Hold NPORS/ CPCS for forward tipping dumper, excavator and roller

(NRSWA is an advantage)

  • 5 years + experience in carrying out groundwork’s duties on residential developments
  • Strong work ethic and time management
  • Ability read drawings and understand design and specification schedules
