Our groundworks and civil engineering team, as part of Aqua Construction, delivers a wealth of industry knowledge in both the residential and commercial civils sector. This experience enables us to offer unparalleled services to clients and contractors, delivering projects safely, on programme and at the most competitive price possible.

Essential for all our construction projects we have many years’ experience of small- and large-scale civil engineering, groundworks, drainage and highways schemes.

We invest in people, technology and in plant machinery. Our Aqua-owned fleet is constantly growing and includes excavators (1 to 14 tonnes), diggers, dumpers (1 to 9 tonnes) and telehandlers.

At our recent regeneration project at Northgate Street in Gloucester we deployed a specialist piling rig – only two exist in Europe – to excavate the 14m-deep piled foundations using protective casings to preserve Gloucester’s archaeology heritage.

At a mixed development site, located at Watery Lane, Newent, water, flooding and drainage presented many issues in groundworks. The challenge for the Aqua team was to address the survey findings, rectify the issues and not disrupt the house foundations or the neighbours. This site presented a restricted, tight access and was complex in terms of size, sequencing, tanking and geology.
