Aqua Construction has secured a new contract worth £1.4m to build eight properties for shared ownership and social rent for the Rooftop Housing Group, the Evesham-based housing association, at a site in Sweden Lane near Tewkesbury.

Aqua Construction was successful in winning this competitive tender for the design and build works. The first phase involves the demolition of four Swedish-style timber frame prefabricated bungalows to make way for eight stylish two-and three-bed bungalows.

With a focus on sustainability the highly insulated timber-framed structures are complimented by solar panels and air source heat pumps

Thanks to the local Parish Council for their cooperation and support in the early stages of the project.

Aqua Construction is proud to continue its partnership with the Rooftop Housing Group, following the success of their previous projects including Pember Close, Bishop’s Drive and the current development of 28 properties at Crown Close also for social rent and shared ownership.

Sweden Lane represents the third development project for the Rooftop Housing Group. This will be an eight month build programme with demolition work starting in February and scheduled to finish early Autumn 2025.
