Bell House Farm is a plot of land situated in the beautiful village of Maisemore which was historically developed on the banks of the River Severn. Bell House Farm previously comprised of an unused, overgrown area of land, as well as containing some ancillary outbuildings which were in a dilapidated state. These outbuildings have been demolished to make more appropriate use of the land, by constructing a development of 16 new homes for Gloucester City Homes.
The new development will consist of:
- 3 x four-bedroom house
- 9 x three-bedroom house
- 2 x two-bedroom bungalow
- 2 x one-bedroom bungalow
- 37 x parking spaces either in garages, on driveways, or in courtyards
The new development has been designed to sensitively respond to the surrounding architectures. This has been done through designing plots 2 to 5 with low eaves to respect the nature of its neighbouring Grade 11 listed properties, as well as using similar building materials.
Work on site commenced in spring 2020 and is due for completion in summer 2021.
