Edward Massie Gardens is one of our developments for Gloucester City Homes. The site was originally a car park/ green area in Garnalls Road, Matson. As part of the new development, we will be landscaping the area to keep the natural greenery within the area. We will achieve this by planting new trees and plants to enhance the area.

The development consists of 15 new affordable flats, supplying the residents with much-needed affordable housing. These include:

• 3 x one-bedroom flats
• 12 x two-bedroom flats
• All of the flats come with a spacious open plan living and kitchen/ dining area
• Parking for 21 cars

All of the flats have been designed by a local architect Quattro, who design the buildings to be energy efficient. This means the new residents will have reduced energy bills.

Our team started construction in December 2017 and was completed on December 14th 2018.

This development was shortlisted as a finalist in the LABC West of England Awards 2019 for Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development and Best Small New Housing Development.
